Emotional support animals (ESAs) are pets that are required for a person's ongoing mental health treatment by a licensed therapist, psychologist, doctor (GP) or any licensed medical professional.
An ESA is a part of the person's ongoing treatment program that it is designed to bring comfort and minimize the negative symptoms the person's emotional or psychological disability. All domesticated animals of any age may qualify as Emotional Support Animal & they do not need any specific task-training like a service/assistance animal because their very presence alleviates the symptoms associated with the personal's psychological or emotional disability.
The ESA EU Registration has helped thousands of people with registration so they are able to have their ESA with them in accommodation (university, private, council), out shopping and most importantly help the person to live again with their companion at their side when out in public.

ESA REGISTRATION

The Emotional Support Animals Registry EU is self funded with registration & renewals only and takes no funds from any government department or organization, and we do not take any donations by individuals or businesses. Our only misson is to help people with their ESAs.

FLYING

All airlines have different rules and regulations for having your ESA on-board and all of them have breed, weight and size limits - but for all airlines, all ESAs must be able to in a cage or travel bag under the seat on take-off and landing due to the airlines safety policies and there are no exceptions.

ACCOMMODATION

Many Universities & Councils use ESAEU for their tenants accommodation requirements in registration of their Emotional Support Animal to allow it to live with the tenant. It is currenty against the law to discriminate against anyone with a menatl health diagnosis and their accommodation. Please discuss with your landlord first about having an ESA before you register.

REGISTER NON CAT/DOG

Many Universities & Councils ask for animals such as birds, ferrets, gerbils, rabbits, snakes, lizards, hamsters, rats, etc., to be registered with ESAEU for accommodation purposes. Any animal can be registered as an Emotional Support Animal, but in the United Kingdom, you will NOT be allowed to take such an animal into businesses due to the health laws. Always check with your landlord before you register any non cat/dog animal.
